    1. When do the Ogden Outlaws begin play?

    The Ogden Outlaws have open tryouts in March & April of each year and begin scheduled play in May. They will be playing in the United Soccer Leagues (USL), Premier Developement League's (PDL) Western Conference: Southwest Division.

    2. What is the USL and the PDL?

    The USL- ..."The largest organization of elite-level soccer leagues in North America, United Soccer Leagues is dedicated to growing the sport at the grassroots level in every community."

    The PDL-..."The top U23 men’s amateur league in North America lives in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the development ground for elite players. ...Players have the ability to compete in the PDL throughout the summer months in a professionalized setting while maintaining their collegiate eligibility. The league is the proving ground for players that aspire to reach the highest-levels of the game, while providing affordable family entertainment within their city."

    3. What is the realationship between the Ogden Outlaws and Real Salt Lake?

    Real Salt Lake has expressed their full support for the Ogden Outlaws.

    4. Where are the Home games Played?

    Currently all the Home Games are played at Bonneville High (251 East 4800 South Washington Terrace) School's Soccer Field. Located on the West Side of Bonneville High School at 4900 South 150 East.

    5. Where do the Players come from?

    Many of the Players are from the local area, having come through local High School and League teams. Players also come from throughout the United States, usually from college teams, some are students here from foreign countries. Coaches look for individuals with good skills, knowledge of the game, and abilities to work as a team. The coaches then try to mold all the varing backgrounds into a competitive and successful team.

    6. Are Players and Personnel paid?

    The USL defines Amateur Player as:
    An amateur player is defined by the following: A player who does not receive payment for playing soccer and who has signed an amateur registration form with U.S. Soccer or Canadian Soccer Association. Amateur players may be reimbursed for certain expenses as allowed by USSF / CSA / NCAA rules.
